Texas dropped from No. 6 to No. 9 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll and from No. 6 to No. 10 in the ESPN/USA Today rankings released minutes ago. Kansas assumed the No. 1 spot in both polls for the second time this season.

In the AP poll, Baylor moved up from No. 24 to No. 20 after beating Texas in Austin on Saturday, and made its debut in the ESPN/USA Today poll at No. 24. Kansas State is up to No. 10 (AP) and No. 11 (ESPN/USA Today).

Baylor coach Scott Drew said he'd like to see more Big 12 schools in the rankings. He has a case. Eight Big 12 teams are ranked in the top 40 in the NCAA's latest RPI rankings, three more than any other conference (ACC and Big East each have five).

Missouri and Oklahoma State received votes.
