Missouri coach Barry Odom told me that star linebacker Cale Garrett will have pectoral surgery Tuesday morning. "We'll know a little more after that," Odom said. "They may get in there tomorrow and get some better news." Odom said the injury is "devastating" but expects Garrett's teammates to be especially motivated to play for him. Odom said junior Jamal Brooks, sophomore Cameron Wilkins and redshirt freshman Chad Bailey will be relied on to replace Garrett.
