Chattanooga QB Bennifield to miss 1st 4 games

Chattanooga athletic department spokesman Jay Blackman confirmed Friday that Alejandro Bennifield would miss the first four games of the season because of an NCAA academic issue.

Titans sixth-round guard Corey Levin out of Chattanooga says he's a big fan of the NHL Nashville Predators. He wants to meet goalie Pekka Rinne. "I'd drive up there this week in a heartbeat if I could get a dang ticket," he said of Nashville's second-round series against the St. Louis Blues.

New Titans G Corey Levin: "I didn't have a clue where I would go. Somewhere in the fifth to free-agent range. The sixth, in the middle of that, is awesome." His finance's family is from Nashville and he's become familiar with the team from that. He rattled off several names. "Great culture there, excited to be a part of it. ...I'm probably more of a guard in the NFL, just because I don't have any length." Titans worked him out at center too, which he's been working on.
