Source: Georgia Tech has hired Wofford defensive coordinator Shiel Wood as safeties coach. He coached on both sides of the ball during eight total seasons (two stints) on the Wofford staff, and worked there with new Georgia Tech defensive coordinator Nate Woody.

Wofford LB remains hospitalized after collapse

A Wofford linebacker who collapsed on the sidelines during a game at Tennessee Tech and was rushed to the hospital remains at Cookeville Regional Medical Center after undergoing several tests.
