McNabb's stats, Week 11 preview

November, 17, 2006
As many of you know by now, there was a scoring change made from Sunday's Eagles-Redskins game, and it's the biggest news in fantasy football. Yep, bigger than signing top free agent Ladell Betts. Bigger than Shaun Alexander or Trent Green returning. Even bigger than Emmitt Smith winning Dancing with the Stars.

Donovan McNabb picked up an extra eight fantasy points mid-week, without playing in a game.

In the second quarter of Philly's easy 27-3 win Sunday, which originally was most significant for fantasy because it got a veteran quarterback benched and a running back who was selected, in ESPN average live drafts, hurt for the rest of the season, McNabb threw a 20-yard sideline pass to Reggie Brown, and it was first scored as a completed pass and fumble. Some thought Brown had intentionally lateraled to Correll Buckhalter on the play when he was getting tackled. Buckhalter took the mid-air gift and rambled for a touchdown.
