FaZe Clan and eUnited each cruised through two upper-bracket matches on Saturday to move within one win of the Grand Finals at the $1.25 million CWL Pro League playoffs in Miami Beach, Florida.

The two teams will face off Sunday in the best-of-five format for a berth in the finals, with the loser heading to face the lower-bracket champion -- either Gen.G or Team Reciprocity. The champion crowned Sunday night at the Miami Beach Convention Center will earn $500,000, and the runner-up will pocket $300,000.

FaZe opened with a 3-0 sweep of the back-to-back champions, 100 Thieves, in the upper-bracket quarterfinals, winning Gridlock Hardpoint 250-219, Arsenal Search and Destroy 6-1 and Gridlock Control 3-2. They then overcame a hiccup in the semifinals to down Luminosity Gaming 3-1, after LG took Frequency Hardpoint 250-219 for the early edge. FaZe bounced back with a 6-3 win on Arsenal Search and Destroy, a 3-1 advantage on Gridlock Control and a 250-189 victory on Hacienda Hardpoint to clinch it.

LG, who went 8-14 during the regular season but stormed through the play-in tournament to qualify for the playoffs, had stunned Division A top seed OpTic Gaming earlier Saturday with a 3-0 sweep in the quarterfinals. They took Hacienda Hardpoint 250-99, Hacienda Search and Destroy 6-1 and Gridlock Control 3-2 in a surprisingly one-sided upset.

OpTic's swift tumble continued, as 100 Thieves swept them 3-0 -- 250-166 on Gridlock Hardpoint, 6-4 on Hacienda Search and Destroy and 3-1 on Seaside Control -- in the lower bracket. That bounced OpTic, who finished the regular season 16-6, from the tournament.

Meanwhile, Division B top seed eUnited had no trouble with Reciprocity in the quarterfinals, sweeping them 250-123 on Gridlock Hardpoint, 6-4 on Frequency Search and Destroy and 3-0 on Seaside Control to set up a semifinal meeting with Gen.G.

Gen.G, who had beaten Splyce 3-1 in the quarterfinals, took the early edge on eUnited with a 250-184 victory on Arsenal Hardpoint. But eUnited quickly responded, squeaking out Hacienda Search and Destroy 6-5, dominating Arsenal Control 3-0 and capping it with a 250-177 win on Frequency Hardpoint.

But Gen.G recovered from the defeat, outlasting 100 Thieves in a five-map battle to reach the lower-bracket finals. 100 Thieves opened with a 250-103 win on Frequency Hardpoint, but Gen.G leveled and took the lead with victories of 6-3 on Payload Search and Destroy and 3-1 on Gridlock Control. After 100 Thieves tied it on Arsenal Hardpoint 250-218, Gen.G took Frequency Search and Destroy 6-3 to officially end 100 Thieves' bid for three straight titles.

In the other lower-bracket semifinal, Reciprocity took the early edge with a 250-164 win on Hacienda Hardpoint, but LG tied it with a 6-4 win on Hacienda Search and Destroy before claiming Seaside Control 3-1. Reciprocity was not done, however, squeaking out a 250-243 win on Frequency Hardpoint to level it and a 6-3 victory on Gridlock Search and Destroy to move on.

In earlier lower-bracket action Saturday, Reciprocity had swept Splyce, who ousted Heretics 3-1 a round earlier. Before sweeping OpTic, 100 Thieves survived Evil Geniuses 3-2 in a see-saw battle.

Gen.G and Reciprocity will start Sunday's action at 1 p.m. ET, with FaZe vs. eUnited following at 2:30 p.m.. The losers' finals will be at 4 p.m. before the Grand Finals at 5:30 p.m.
