Loyola-Chicago could get the MVC automatic bid, but can they win in March?

The good news for 2018 Final Four darling Loyola-Chicago is that the Ramblers won't have to sweat out an at-large bid on Selection Sunday if they don't win the Missouri Valley Conference tournament. The bad news is, well, everything else.

The MVC is a one-bid league in 2019, the Ramblers are just 13-8 heading into the last five weeks of their regular season (they were 18-4 at this point a year ago), and four other teams are within a game of Loyola at the top of the conference standings.

Even with that, the Ramblers remain a better-than-average bet to emerge from the MVC's "arch madness" tournament in St. Louis with the automatic bid. Today's exercise is to determine what the Ramblers might do with it.
