Max Scherzer hit 98 mph three times in the first inning, but his 95-mph 0-1 fastball to Aaron Judge was right down the middle and Judge crushed it deep into the left-center bullpen. In case you didn't notice: The AL has a pretty good lineup.

The "Holy Grail" of baseball cards, a pristine 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle valued at several million dollars, was delivered to the History Colorado Center on Monday via armored truck for a 72-hour public display.

Manny Machado caused a bit of a stir on social media when he "liked" a photo of himself on Instagram wearing a Yankees uniform. Lifelong Yankees fan Todd Plourde won the right to name his son "Bryce" after beating his wife at mini golf (she wanted "Avery"). Six years later, the Wallingford, CT resident - who made the six-hour drive to DC to take in the All-Star festivities with his boy - isn't spooked by his favorite player's first-half slump. "Oh my god yeah," says Plourde when asked if he'd like to see Bryce Harper sign with New York this winter. "Yankee Stadium is built for him. He'll hit 60 home runs there. Just gotta find a position for him. I'd put him at first base."
