The Mariners pull out another one-run victory, a 1-0 win over the A's with the only run scoring on an error. Marco Gonzales tossed seven scoreless innings as he continues to look like the second-best starter on the team and Edwin Diaz struck out the side on 13 pitches for the save. The A's beat the Red Sox to climb to .500, with the big highlight Stephen Piscotty homering in his first at-bat since returning to the team after the death of his mom, who had suffered from ALS.
