When he was 13, Jarrett Allen said his coaches would always asked him if he was going to try to block LeBron James' shot when he made it to the NBA. He proved that he had no problem doing that on Tuesday. Allen was the ninth player to block a LeBron dunk in 1850 career dunk attempts when he swatted James in the first quarter of the Nets' win.

Kenny Atkinson said Jarrett Allen, like all great shot-blockers, isn't afraid to get dunked on and he credits Allen for getting the crowd energized with his strong clock on a LeBron James dunk in the first quarter.

D'Angelo Rusell has 22 points and 13 assists against his former team to lift the Nets to an upset win over the Lakers. Brooklyn has won six in a row, something they haven't done since 2015. Joe Harris added 19 points and Jared Dudley had 13, including several big shots late in the game. LeBron James had 36 and 13 rebounds.

My favorite NBA headline this week is that the Lakers would be open to trading Ingram for a star.

Strong night so far for Nets guard D'Angelo Russell, who has 19 points and 11 assists against his old team. Russell has missed 11 of 19 shots but is playing with good pace and has helped Brooklyn take a 7-point leading heading into the fourth quarter.

There are plenty of Lakers fans here in Brooklyn on Tuesday. You can hear ‘MVP' chants for LeBron James late in the third quarter while James is on the free-throw line.

Huge ovation for Brooklyn native Lance Stephenson, who checks in with 3:45 to go in the first quarter of Lakers-Nets.
