Cavaliers center Ante Zizic sidelined 4 weeks with plantar fasciitis

The Cleveland Cavaliers say center Ante Zizic will be out approximately four weeks due to plantar fasciitis in his left foot.

The team said Zizic underwent tests at the Cleveland Clinic Sports Health and further evaluation by the Cavaliers medical staff that revealed the plantar fasciitis.

Zizic had missed all four of Cleveland's preseason games due to discomfort and soreness in the foot.

The center is in his third season with the Cavs. He averaged 7.8 points and 5.4 rebounds in 59 games (25 starts) in 2018-19.
