Indiana will use the room midlevel exception on Kyle O'Quinn and now have 12 players on guaranteed contracts. Signing one-year free agents now has Indiana projected to have $55M in cap space in 2019, including the $10.2M Myles Turner free agent hold.

Prior to free agency, the Knicks had interest in bringing Kyle O'Quinn back on a one-year deal after he opted out of his $4.25 million player option for 2018-19. They hadn't shown strong interest in recent days and O'Quinn is now an Indiana Pacer, signing a one-year $4.5 million contract with the club, per ESPN's Chris Haynes.

With Indiana using cap space to sign Tyreke Evans, we are now down to four teams that have significant room: Atlanta ($21M), Chicago ($23M), Philadelphia ($15M) and Sacramento ($18M). This is not an easy market to be a restricted free agent.

Indiana could elect to use the stretch provision (over 3 years) on the $4M owed to Al Jefferson or let his cap sit for one year. Using the stretch would have the Pacers with $14.5M in room. Not stretching would equal $11.8M‬.

Sources: Pacers decline team option on Young

The Pacers have declined the team option on guard Joe Young, making him an unrestricted free agent, a league source tells ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

With the $10.5M Bojan Bogdanovic salary likely becoming guaranteed today, Indiana will enter free agency with $12M in room that could increase to $22.2M. The room takes into account free agent cap holds removed and Al Jefferson waived prior to his July 2 guaranteed date. Jefferson is owed $4M and his salary could be stretched over 3 seasons reducing his cap hit to $1.3M. Indiana could create additional saving if Ike Anigbogu is waived prior to his July 15 cut date. The former second-round pick has $690K of his $1.4M salary guaranteed.
