JACKSON, Miss. -- I've long held the opinion that the state of Mississippi is one of the most productive states per capita in the country when it comes to blue-chip football prospects. But after traveling through the Magnolia State from north to south and east to west, I've come to the conclusion that this is only an average year for football talent in the state. However, there is an abundance of potential All-American quarterbacks, a couple of pretty good running backs and a dominating defensive lineman.
