MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- I will not be finished evaluating prospects in Tennessee until mid-June, but I have finished the Memphis area and believe me when I tell you this city is loaded with blue-chip football talent. I have been traveling to the Memphis area for the past 25 years, and this may be the best group in at least 15 years, particularly along the line on both sides of the ball. This month will bring just about every major school in the country to the Memphis area to take a look at these potential All-Americans.

The real strength in the Memphis area this year is the linemen, and none is better than Briarcrest's Michael Oher. Believe it or not, the 6-foot-3, 330-pounder has been timed at 4.940 in the 40. Oher dominates from his right tackle position on offense and as a tackle on defense. He has the potential to become a difference maker at either offensive tackle or offensive guard. The remarkable athlete is also a standout center in basketball. Oher has heard from just about every major school in the South. Right now, Tennessee and LSU lead his list of favorite schools.
