Wake Forest's and the ACC's swift reactions to Chris Paul's below-the-belt blow to N.C. State's Julius Hodge should tell the Atlantic 10 and Temple how to handle a situation.

This wasn't an easy decision for Wake Forest, just like suspending John Chaney wasn't for Temple. Paul is the team's best player, its leader and an ACC and national player of the year candidate. He's a special young adult who warms you with his infectious personality. He made a mistake and suspending him for Wake Forest's quarterfinal game, which could end up hurting the Demon Deacons' No. 1 seed chances, was a tough call.
