A look around the MAC

Almost every college football coach has a favorite saying plastered along the wall of his team meeting room. For coaches, these adages might as well be conditions for employment, alongside "playing experience" and "some form of a Southern drawl." Miami (Ohio) boss Terry Hoeppner is no exception. The phrase "have a plan, work a plan and plan for the unexpected" is often recited in Oxford. But what sets Hoeppner and the RedHawks apart from others is that they actually stick to those words. A knack for advance planning combined with an accommodating attitude has made Miami the MAC's most visible team. The RedHawks hold the nation's longest winning streak (14 games), regularly appear on national television and continue to improve their facilities.
