(Editor's note: The first quarterback in Philadelphia Eagles history to lead the team to the Super Bowl, Jaworski addresses the feelings of the city's denizens.)

It's great to see the city of Philadelphia and the Eagles get the proverbial 500-pound gorilla off their backs. This is a great sports city filled with knowledgeable fans who respect athletes who give their all. It's wonderful to see them rewarded.

Too often, Philadelphia fans have been painted with a broad brush because of the poor actions of a few. When Philly fans are mentioned, usually you hear about the infamous moments, such as fans booing Santa Claus and other disorderly situations. Now, hopefully, the sight of Philly's fans celebrating will be that for which they are remembered -- not the transgressions of the past.
