Keeping with the theme of getting rid of a negative drain, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers decided that it is a team game and have sent wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson home with his own "damn ball." This, coming on the heels of the Cleveland Browns' release of Kevin Johnson, gives us the classic case of there are many ways to skin the cat.

Veteran GM Rich McKay took the bull by the horns and sent Keyshawn home in a surprising move to try and right a sinking ship in Tampa. The Buccaneers will still have to pay Johnson his base salary for the rest of the season even though he won't be around the facility at all. Choosing this route, as opposed to the Browns way of just cutting the cord, will allow the Bucs to at least try to obtain some compensation in the offseason for a player they gave a $13 million signing bonus to and forked over multiple draft picks to obtain.
