Steelers seal win on Kyler's 3rd INT (0:28)

The Cardinals dropped to 3-9-1 with a 23-17 loss to the Pittsburg Steelers on Sunday after Arizona's defense struggled drive in and drive out. Arizona's offense looked better than it did last week, while working David Johnson back into the rotation. But, ultimately, the Cardinals' defense allowed a third-string quarterback to march up and down the field throughout the game.

After starting as slow as it has all season, the Cardinals' offense found some life in the final moments of the first quarter and into the second quarter to score 10 unanswered to tie the game at 10 but they trail 13-10 at halftime. The offense in the second quarter couldn't have looked more different than that in the first half. But coach Kliff Kingsbury started getting running backs David Johnson and Chase Edmonds involved more and the ball started moving.

Ninkovich: Steelers have a shot at the playoffs (1:07)

Josh Weinfuss ESPN Staff Writer

I asked Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury today if he was surprised by Josh Shaw's suspension for gambling on NFL games, which was announced on Friday. His answer: “I don't know anything about it, honestly. So, I saw the headline but I don't know what he's done or accused of or anything so I don't know what I would be surprised about. I have no clue with any of that, like I said. I've had zero discussions about him or the league, or anything.”

Bomani weighs in on why there's historical precedence at Alabama for coaches being on the hotseat despite legendary success in regards to Nick Saban as well as the situation for Jim Harbaugh at Michigan (0:40). Why Josh Shaw seems to have no idea when to lie and when to tell the truth (14:27) and Bo thinks the NBA needs to switch things up if they want to boost their TV ratings (26:17). Sources: Shaw's parlay bet included Cards game

A three-team parlay that included an Arizona Cardinals game led the NFL in part to suspend Cardinals defensive back Josh Shaw for violating the league's gambling policy, multiple sources told ESPN.

For the second straight game, the Cardinals had a pass interference call reversed. This time, it happened after a Kyler Murray interception. Reviewing the turnover, officials ruled that WR Larry Fitzgerald was interfered with and gave the ball back to the Cardinals.

The Cardinals turned in perhaps their worst half of football this season. They had just 63 yards on 20 plays in the first two quarters, which led to no points. Arizona, which had just three first downs, had the ball for 9:17 while the Rams' time of possession was 20:43. But the offense wasn't completely at fault for trailing 20-0 at halftime. The defense gave up 390 yards in the first half, including 323 to Rams quarterback Jared Goff. Los Angeles had two 100-yard receivers in the first half.
