Talk about strides. The Cardinals were 2-for-3 in the red zone in the first half against the Atlanta Falcons and it led them to a 20-10 lead at halftime. It's a sign that coach Kliff Kingsbury has been learning from his mistakes and correcting them, a key element to him being successful as a first-year head coach.

Just how potent can the Cardinals' offense be? Look at the drive that put them ahead 17-7 as the perfect example. It took them three plays to go 78 yards down to the Falcons 1-yard-line, and then David Johnson powered in from there for a touchdown. Arizona's three plays went for 17, 30 and 31 yards, respectively. But there's more. Only two players got the ball on that drive: David Johnson had plays of 17, 30 and then the touchdown, and Chase Edmonds had a 31-yard play.

Kyler Murray leads Cardinals to 1st win, 26-23 over Bengals

Rookie Kyler Murray ran for a touchdown and led the Cardinals on a drive to Zane Gonzalez's 31-yard field goal on the final play Sunday as the Cardinals got their first win under coach Kliff Kingsbury, 26-23 over the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Cardinals are leading a battle of two of the worst teams in football 13-6 at halftime thanks to an impressive run game by quarterback Kyler Murray. Arizona's defense figured out how to slow down the Bengals run game after getting torched on Cincinnati's first drive. But then Murray looked very good, showing improvement in areas like throwing the ball away and coach Kliff Kingsbury had a great half calling plays.
