Four of the Texans final six games are at home (TEN CLE IND JAX) and the road games are at the Jets and struggling Eagles. At 7-3, they're well on their way to a playoff berth. Now if they could only turn some of Ka'imi Fairbairn's league-high 27 field goal attempts in touchdowns...

Though he scored only 9.0 fantasy points on Sunday, that gave Deshaun Watson 350.4 fantasy points through his first 16 career NFL starts. That's the second-most in history by any quarterback, behind only Cam Newton's 370.3.

It took another missed field goal by their opponent, but the Texans won their seventh straight game to go to 7-3 on the season. Houston only scored one touchdown on offense in the game, but the defense did just enough to win and hold on to a 23-21 victory over the Redskins. The Texans now have a two-game lead in the AFC South with a game against the Titans at home next week.

Redskins' Smith has Theismann-like broken leg

Alex Smith broke both the fibula and tibia in his right leg on a third-quarter sack, in a play that brought back memories of Joe Theismann's career-ending injury 33 years ago to the day.

It looked like the Redskins were going to take the lead late in the second quarter before rookie safety Justin Reid intercepted Alex Smith's pass in the end zone and returned it 101 yards for a touchdown. Houston's defense had been struggling to hold Smith and the Redskins' offense in the second quarter, but the pick six gave the Texans a 17-7 lead with 2:23 left in the first half.

Deshaun Watson hasn't had much time to throw against this Redskins so far, and it's not going to get easier after two injuries to the offensive line. Houston's starting guards, Zach Fulton (shoulder) and Senio Kelemete (ankle), are both questionable to return. Greg Mancz is playing in place of Fulton and rookie Martinas Rankin is filling in for Kelemete.

WR Keke Coutee (hamstring) and CB Johnathan Joseph (ankle/knee) are active for the Texans for Sunday's game against the Redskins. Inactive: WR Vyncint Smith, CB Aaron Colvin, CB Deante Burton, ILB Zach Cunningham, OLB Duke Ejiofor, DE Carlos Watkins and DE Joel Heath.

The D.J. Swearinger revenge tour already includes wins vs. former teams Arizona and Tampa Bay. Those were warm-up acts for what takes place Sunday: a chance to beat the team the Redskins safety said bashed him like no other.
