Colts to be without Vinatieri, Hilton vs. Bucs

The Colts will be without veteran kicker Adam Vinatieri, who will miss his first game due to injury since 2009, and receiver T.Y. Hilton when they face the Bucs on Sunday.

Barring any setback, Colts coach Frank Reich expects running back Marlon Mack (hand) and receiver Parris Campbell (hand) will play against the Buccaneers.

Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton (calf) and cornerback Kenny Moore (ankle) have also been ruled out against Tampa.

Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri has been ruled out for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay because of a left knee injury. Sunday will be the first game Vinatieri has missed due to injury since 2009. Chase McLaughlin, who the Colts claimed off waivers Wednesday, will handle the kicking duties. McLaughlin has played in seven games this season, four with the Los Angeles Chargers and three with the San Francisco 49ers. He was 13-for-17 on field goals and made all 15 of his extra point attempts.

Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri, who has missed 14 kicks this season, was limited in practice Wednesday due to a knee injury. To no surprise, WR T.Y. Hilton (calf) and cornerback Kenny Moore (ankle) did not practice. Rookie receiver Parris Campbell (hand) took another step to his return by being a full participant in practice.

Colts RB Marlon Mack, who has missed the past two games with a hand injury, will practice Wednesday. "There is a chance," Frank Reich said about Mack possibly playing Sunday at Tampa. WR Parris Campbell (hand) will also practice. WR TY Hilton (calf) and Kenny Moore (ankle) will not practice.

Mike Wells ESPN Staff Writer

The Colts, desperate for playmakers on offense, have not talked about putting WR T.Y. Hilton (calf) on IR. They're remaining hopeful that he'll be back this season. Coach Frank Reich is optimistic that WR Parris Campbell (hand) will return for Sunday's game at Tampa. The Colts plan to add another receiver after Chester Rogers' knee injury left them with only three players at that position against the Titans

Mike Wells ESPN Staff Writer

Early indications are that Colts WR Chester Rogers suffered a likely season-ending fracture in his knee Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. If further test confirm it, Rogers will join these other WRs who have been injured or cut this season: TY Hilton (quad/calf out indefinitely) Devin Funchess (out for season w/collarbone injury), Parris Campbell (abdominal, hand closer to returning), Deon Cain (cut), Reece Fountain (out for season with ankle injury)

Prior to Adam Vinatieri's blocked field goal attempt that was returned for a TD, the Colts had a 63 percent chance to win according to ESPN's Win Probability Model. After Titans returned the blocked kick for a TD, Indy's chances to win dropped to 10 percent. Had Vinatieri made the field goal, the Colts would have had a 71 percent chance to win.
