Colts coach Frank Reich on Andrew Luck's throws: “What I've seen is he makes all the throws. There's been plenty of throws down the field, in my mind...I've seen is a guy who is extremely accurate. I have no concerns about velocity."

Luck replacement 'nothing to do' with shoulder

Quarterback Andrew Luck was replaced for the Indianapolis Colts' last play, a Hail Mary, but coach Frank Reich said the move had "nothing to do" with Luck's shoulder and "everything to do with getting the ball into the end zone."

Questions about Andrew Luck's right shoulder are warranted after Jacoby Brissett threw the Hail Mary on the final play of the game in the Colts 20-16 loss to the Eagles.

The Colts should feel fortunate only to be down 10-7 to the Eagles at halftime. Quarterback Andrew Luck is 10-of-16. That's the good news. The bad news is he's only thrown for 35 yards because the Eagles constant pressure has caused the Colts to throw a lot of underneath passes. That's not going to work in the second half. The protection has to improve in order for the Colts to have a chance in the second half.

The Colts made Eagles coach Doug Pederson pay for attempting a long field goal getting a Ryan Grant 5-yard touchdown reception. The Eagles could have pinned the Colts deep had they elected to punt instead of attempting a 55-yard field goal
