The Jacksonville Jaguars and offensive coordinator John DeFilippo have mutually agreed to part ways after just one season, the team announced Monday.

The Jacksonville Jaguars and offensive coordinator John DeFilippo have mutually agreed to part ways, the team announced. DeFilippo spent just one season with the Jaguars and the offense ranked 26th overall in scoring (18.8 points per game).

Jaguars assistant RB coach John Donovan has been named OC at the University of Washington. "I have been working with John since our time together at Georgia Tech, and it's been a privilege to see how much he's grown as a coach over the past 20 years," Jaguars coach Doug Marrone said. "He is a diligent worker and has had success coaching offenses in the collegiate ranks at Penn State and Vanderbilt, and I look forward to seeing the impact he makes at Washington."

The Jaguars announce they have signed K Jon Brown, OL Blake Hance, DE Chuck Harris, WR Charone Peake, OL Ryan Pope, DT Brian Price and CB Jayson Stanley to reserve/future contracts. The team also claimed S Josh Jones off waivers from Dallas.

Jaguars to keep coach Marrone, GM Caldwell

The Jaguars are bringing back coach Doug Marrone and general manager Dave Caldwell for the 2020 season. Owner Shad Khan made the announcement on Tuesday.

Jaguars are keeping coach Doug Marrone and GM Dave Caldwell. Owner Shad Khan: "While our discussions will remain confidential, the decision I am making to keep our staff intact for 2020 has nothing to do with our victory on Sunday and everything to do with my positive meetings with Dave, Doug, the coordinators and our players, as well as my belief that this is not the time to consider an overhaul of our organization."
