Dolphins re-signed LB Mike Hull to a one-year deal.

Mina talks to former NFL LB Kirk Morrison about the hype train for the Browns (3:15), the angriest looking coach in the NFL (9:55), why the sophomore slump for QBs is a real thing (31:50), what the Packers should do to help Aaron Rodgers (49:09), the Costco portion of free agency, and if he'd rather give up cake or pie (1:09:54). Plus, Mina discusses why she's here for the fish tank (11:05) and the time she awkwardly got in a revolving door with a 2-time Super Bowl champ (1:04:48).

Dolphins and Cowboys are in trade talks surrounding DE Robert Quinn. The veteran pass rusher is visiting the Cowboys facility to determine the fit and likely rework his deal to consummate a trade, as ESPN's Cowboys reporter Todd Archer said. Quinn is due a $11.8M salary in 2019, but the Dolphins already paid his $1.1M bonus last week showing a willingness to eat money to get a better trade pick like they did with Ryan Tannehill deal. Quinn led the Dolphins with 6.5 sacks last season, but he's not as versatile as the new staff would like and not a long-term fit in Miami.

Biggest takeaway for Ryan Fitzpatrick's intro is he chose Miami because they presented a chance for him to be a starter and he's acting as if he is the Dolphins QB1 in 2019. Two other fun takeaways: 1. Fitzpatrick says he's keeping the beard no matter how hot it gets in South Florida. "It's become such a part of who I am that it will definitely be in full effect." 2. Ryan Fitzpatrick becomes second FitzMagic on the team and he said he hasn't talked to Minkah Fitzpatrick yet, but first step he joked is to see if they're related. "There's plenty of magic to go around."

Details on DeVante Parker's deal: $3.5M base salary & $1M roster bonus both guaranteed for 2019. He can make up to another 500K based on games active. $4.84M cap hit. 2020 is $5M non-gtd team option. Parker has $3M in not likely to be earned incentives over length of deal.

Are the Dolphins "tanking for Tua"?

Adam Schefter and Field Yates dig into the Dolphins' signing of Ryan Fitzpatrick and debate about whether Miami's approach of "tanking for Tua" is ultimately wise for the franchise.

Dolphins announce they are signing former Jaguars G/C Chris Reed. Miami's OL is extremely light on competition and depth after Ja'Wuan James, Josh Sitton, Ted Larsen, Sam Young and Travis Swanson all hit free agency or were cut this offseason. Reed's signing will help solve some of that temporarily.

Ryan Fitzpatrick led the Bucs to a 2-1 record to start the 2018 season with three consecutive games of 400+ passing yards. His play fell off dramatically after that, but he should make games at Hard Rock Stadium more fun than they would be with other backups-turned-starters. He is the clear favorite to start for the Dolphins in 2019 while they look for draft options.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is a stopgap QB for Miami for a year or two, but he's known as a strong leader and should be a good fit for Miami during their rebuild. Plus, he should make things interesting on Sunday with his aggressive style. It should benefit Kenny Stills, Albert Wilson and others. The Dolphins replace one Ryan (Tannehill) with another (Fitzpatrick). And add one FitzMagic to the other already on their roster (Minkah Fitzpatrick).

Miami has its new starting quarterback. Dolphins reached agreement on a two-year deal with former Buccaneers' QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, per source. Fitzpatrick now will join his third AFC East team, having already started for the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills.

Russini: Dolphins' roster is 'nothing' after Tannehill trade (1:19)

Statement from Dolphins GM Chris Grier on Ryan Tannehill trade: "We would like to thank Ryan for his commitment to the Miami Dolphins over the last seven seasons. Ryan is a tireless worker who always put the team first. We wish him the best with the next step of his career."

Ryan Tannehill's time in Miami ends after seven seasons. He ranked in the top-5 in pass yards, TD, passer rating, INTs and games started. But he couldn't erase the QB hole that has defined the Dolphins since the Dan Marino era. Miami has gone a NFL-record 23 consecutive seasons without a Pro Bowl QB since Marino last got the honor in 1995. The Dolphins are now on a new pursuit to find a franchise QB — one that will draw heavy attention to the 2019 and 2020 NFL Drafts with potential options including Kyler Murray, Dwayne Haskins, Drew Lock, Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert and Jake Fromm.

John Pluym ESPN

The Dolphins' trade of quarterback Ryan Tannehill to the Titans leaves Miami with Luke Falk and Jake Rudock at quarterback. Some notable free-agent options include Blake Bortles (will be 27 years old in Week 1), AJ McCarron (28), Mike Glennon (29), Ryan Fitzpatrick (36), Matt Cassel (37) and Josh McCown (40). Miami could also select a quarterback with the 13th overall pick in the 2019 Draft, projected by Todd McShay in his most recent mock draft as being Missouri's Drew Lock. McShay has Kyler Murray (first overall to the Cardinals) and Dwayne Haskins (sixth overall to the Giants ) off the board in the first six picks.

Teddy Bridgewater chose to stay in New Orleans as a backup rather than potentially start in Miami. It seems clear the Dolphins plan to draft their franchise QB in 2019 or 2020, but they have to be disappointed about striking out on Bridgewater. Dolphins locker room is paying attention to who team has QB1, even if it's temporary, and options are dwindling. Top free agent QBs: Colin Kaepernick, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Blake Bortles, Robert Griffin III, Mike Glennon.
