Overall: Holley redshirted in 2000 after tearing his ACL (left) in fall camp. He played sparingly in 11 games in 2001 and started one of the 11 games that he played in during the 2002 season. He emerged as a fulltime starter in all 12 games in 2003. As a senior, Holley earned second-team All-WAC as a fulltime starter that finished with three INT's. Holley is a former quarterback with good instincts, intelligence and feel for the passing game. He is a decent athlete with good size and strength, but Holley is still very much a project in development. He needs to improve his tackling skills and aggressiveness in run support, and he's never going to have good speed. In our opinion, Holley has enough upside because of his instincts and ball skills in coverage to use a sixth or seventh round selection on him, but too many physical limitations ...
