Overall: McChesney appeared in seven games as a true freshman in 2000 before sustaining a season-ending elbow injury. He appeared in 12 games starting two of them in 2001 and redshirted during the 2002 season after sustaining a serious ankle injury. McChesney started 10 of the 12 games he appeared in during his junior season in 2003 before having a breakout senior season as a fulltime starter in 2004, when he finished with 59 tackles and seven sacks. The question for most organizations is will the risk be worth the reward? McChesney has had problems staying healthy and there are some concerns about his character. However, he possesses a good combination of size, athletic ability and versatility, and he made huge strides late in his career at Colorado. He has too many alerts to gamble on any earlier than the sixth round but McChesney showed enough potential in his senior ...
