Overall: Haldi redshirted in 2000, saw limited action in 2001 and took over as a fulltime starter in 2002. He started all 12 games as a junior in 2003 and finished completing 59.2-percent of his attempts for 2,544 yards with 25 TD's and nine INT's. After missing all but three snaps in the Huskies' first four contests due to a summer right foot stress fracture, Haldi returned to lead Northern Illinois to seven wins in their last eight games and completed 52.5-percent of his attempts for 1,384 yards with 15 TD's and four INT's. Haldi's draft stock rose late in his senior season after he missed nearly four full games at the start of 2004. He played so well down the stretch and made such a strong impression at the combine that he has developed into an intriguing late-round or priority free agency draft prospect.
