Overall: Also participated in track at Fort Hays and qualified for the NCAA Outdown Championships in the discus. He started out as a tight end and redshirted in 2000. He moved to defensive end in 2001 and became a fulltime starter there in 2002. He played most of the 2003 season as a DE before being moved back to TE in the final game of that season. As a senior TE in 2004, Griffeth started 8-of-11 games and finished with 22 receptions for 336 yards and four TD's. Griffith is a small school developmental prospect with limited experience at the TE position after spending most of his collegiate career at DE. He has very good size, strength, and hands.
