Overall: Tuck, the cousin of Ravens' OLB Adalius Thomas, redshirted as an outside linebacker in 2001 before being moved to DE in 2002. Tuck took over as a fulltime starter in his sophomore season in 2003 and finished with 73 tackles and also led the Irish with a school-record 13.5 sacks (106 yards) and 19 tackles for loss (117 yards). Tuck had a rollercoaster of a senior season. He did finish the season with 47 total tackles, 14.5 TFL and six sacks, but he missed the team's Insight Bowl game against Oregon State because of a knee injury that had been lingering, and he also was far less consistent versus the run 2004 than he was in 2003. He sat out the spring with a knee injury and he seemed to be playing a lot more hesitantly in 2004 than he had in the past. Tuck does have good size ...
