Al-Jazira set up a FIFA Club World Cup semifinal against European champions Real Madrid as they beat Urawa Red Diamonds 1-0 in Abu Dhabi.
Ali Mabkhout broke the deadlock on 52 minutes for the United Arab Emirates side, who had beaten Auckland City in their playoff on Wednesday.
Japanese side Urawa, the Asia Champions, could not find a way back as Al-Jazira closed out victory and will meet the Spaniards, who trashed La Liga rivals Sevilla 5-0 on Saturday afternoon, in Abu Dhabi on Dec.13.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Mexican side Pachuca beat 10-man Wydad Casablanca 1-0 with a goal in extra time from Victor Guzman. Pachuca will meet Gremio of Brazil on Dec. 12 in the other semifinal.
