Schalke boss Domenico Tedesco insists his side are fully focused on the Bundesliga run-in ahead of the clash with Cologne following their disappointing exit from the DFB-Pokal in midweek.

The Gelsenkirchen club crashed out of the cup in the semi-finals as Luka Jovic's strike gave Eintract Frankfurt a 1-0 win at the Veltins Arena to set up a final against coach Niko Kovac's future employers Bayern Munich next month.

Schalke could secure Champions League football on Sunday and at the same time send Cologne...

The German FA (DFB) has fined Cologne €7,500 after two supporters were found to have verbally abused Stuttgart goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler during a Bundesliga match earlier this month.

Ex-Leicester keeper Zieler, born in Cologne, was targeted during the second half of Stuttgart's 3-2 away win.

Supporters, one of whom appeared to be using a megaphone, shouted sentences including: "Zieler, why don't you kill yourself?" and "Your mother is related to [former Germany keeper Robert] Enke," with...

Cologne bans man for two years after verbal abuse of Ron-Robert Zieler

Lucas Podolski expressed his frustration with fans who insulted Stuttgart's Ron-Robert Zieler.

Cologne has imposed a two-year stadium ban on a supporter who they determined verbally abused Stuttgart goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler during a Bundesliga game.

Zieler, born in Cologne, was insulted during Stuttgart's 3-2 win at the Mungersdorfer Stadion on March 4 by fans who also disparaged former Hannover goalkeeper Robert Enke, who died in 2009.

After an investigation, Cologne have identified two people alleged to have participated in the chants and banned one from the stadium for two years.
