FC Dallas have announced the signing of Argentina right-back Hernan Grana on loan, along with Venezuela midfielder Carlos Cermeno for the 2017 season.

Grana excelled in a seven-match stint with the Columbus Crew in 2015 and has played 11 seasons and more than 200 games in Argentina's first division since starting his career with Lanus in 2008.

FC Dallas signs striker Cristian Colman as young designated player

Cristian Colman has moved to MLS with FC Dallas.

FC Dallas signed Paraguayan forward Cristian Colman to a young designated player contract on Thursday.

The 22-year-old joins the MLS club from Nacional, where he has scored 18 goals in 65 games since 2015.

Terms of the transfer were not disclosed. Goal.com reported earlier this month that Dallas paid the Paraguay club a $2 million fee to acquire Colman amid offers from such high-profile clubs as Mexico's Leon, Argentina's Lanus and Brazil's Sao Paulo and Gremio.

FC Dallas ends contracts of Moises Hernandez and Jose Salvatierra

FC Dallas cut ties with full-backs Moises Hernandez and Jose Salvatierra on Tuesday, terminating the contracts of both players.

Hernandez, 24, made 31 appearances for the MLS club in 2014 and 2015 before spending last season on loan at Rayo OKC.

The former Dallas academy product has become a steady contributor with the Guatemala national team, and technical director Fernando Clavijo said both sides agreed to terminate his contract for 2017.

FC Dallas' Kellyn Acosta and Matt Hedges leave U.S. camp with injuries

Matt Hedges has left U.S. camp after spraining his knee.

FC Dallas midfielder Kellyn Acosta and defender Matt Hedges have been dropped from the U.S. national team training camp because of injuries, while Vancouver midfielder Kekuta Manneh has left to join the Whitecaps for preseason training.

Acosta has a mild left ankle sprain, and Hedges has a mild right knee sprain, the U.S. Soccer Federation said on Monday.
