Juventus must be wary of 'very dangerous' Lazio - Massimiliano Allegri

Gonzalo Higuain has scored 12 goals in 11 career games vs. Lazio.
With reports indicating that Blaise Matuidi is on his way to Juventus, are La Vecchia Signora now better without Paul Pogba?

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has warned his players against being caught out of position when they take on a Lazio side he says are "very dangerous'' on the counter-attack.

Both clubs go into Saturday's clash at the Stadio Olimpico looking to make it two wins from two this season, with Juve starting their title defence with a 2-1 triumph over Fiorentina while Lazio were 4-3 victors at Atalanta.

Although Lazio came close to letting a 3-0 lead slip in that match, Allegri believes the result...

Montella's Milan ready to face Higuain-less Napoli; Juventus travel to Lazio

ESPN FC's Gab Marcotti explains if any team in Serie A can prevent Juventus from winning a sixth straight league title.

As a football aesthete, perhaps it shouldn't come as a surprise that Vincenzo Montella preferred the total football played by Arrigo Sacchi's Milan, even at a time when Napoli, his hometown team, were winning league titles with Diego Maradona.

The young Montella had a Marco van Basten poster on his bedroom wall and, while he never fulfilled his dream of playing for the Rossoneri, now finds himself in charge at San Siro: "One of the first things (Milan vice-president) Adriano Galliani said to me...

Lazio edged a hugely entertaining game at Atalanta 4-3 to make a winning start to the new Serie A season.

The Biancocelesti looked like strolling to a comfortable victory as goals from Ciro Immobile, Wesley Hoedt and Cristiano Lombardi gave them a three-goal cushion going into half-time.

However, Atalanta rallied after the break and two quick goals from Franck Kessie put the hosts right back in contention with over 25 minutes to play.

Danilo Cataldi extended Lazio's lead in the final minute to secure...

Lazio call Keita Balde Diao 'arrogant' in escalating row over knee injury

Keita Balde Diao said he would not let anyone doubt his word.

Lazio have accused forward Keita Balde Diao of making "aggressive" and "offensive" comments after he hit back at coach Simone Inzaghi in a row over an injury.

Keita voiced unhappiness with Inzaghi after the former Italy international questioned his attitude -- but a club statement said he was being "unprofessional" and "arrogant" and was aiming to "facilitate a transfer."

Speaking to reporters on Friday, the coach said Keita had asked to be left out of the squad for Sunday's match at Atalanta after...

Lazio's Keita hits back at manager Simone Inzaghi for questioning injury

Marcelo Bielsa has resigned as Lazio boss, just two days after signing his contract. We look at other managers who spent just days in charge.
Keita has been sidelined by a knock to his knee.

Lazio forward Keita Balde Diao hit back at Simone Inzaghi on Saturday after his manager questioned his attitude.

Keita will not play for Lazio against Atalanta on Sunday after suffering a knock to his knee, but Inzaghi told reporters on Friday that scans showed no injury.

Inzaghi said he was "stunned" by Keita ruling himself out of the game, to which the 21-year-old took offense.

"I won't let anyone doubt my word," Keita wrote on Facebook. "I have a knee problem and, after a...
