Idrissa Sylla scored for the second successive game as QPR came back to snatch a deserved 1-1 draw at rock-bottom Bolton.

The Guinean forward struck with 12 minutes remaining of a scrappy game at the Macron Stadium, adding to his strike at Sunderland last weekend.

Darren Pratley had given Bolton a first-half lead, heading home from close range and piling the pressure on Ian Holloway's side, who have not won a league game away from Loftus Road since February.

Sunderland's wait for a first home win in 2017 continues after they were held to a 1-1 draw by QPR.

The Black Cats have now gone a remarkable 17 games without claiming victory at the Stadium of Light, and they remain rooted in the Sky Bet Championship relegation zone.

Things might have been even worse for them after Idrissa Sylla's first-half header gave QPR a deserved lead, but a second-half rally saw Aiden McGeady curl home an excellent equaliser from the edge of the area.

Massimo Luongo 'backed' at QPR, ready to step up for Socceroos

Australia and QPR midfielder Massimo Luongo sits down for an exclusive interview with ESPN FC's Jason Dasey to discuss his family background, life in Sydney, Indonesian food and more.

Australia midfielder Massimo Luongo has credited on-field fluidity and off-field honesty for his Queens Park Rangers' moments of magic.

The Socceroos stalwart has thrived in the English Championship this season as the driving force of a free-flowing midfield trio also featuring Luke Freeman and Josh Scowen.

Fulham were able to fend off Queens Park Rangers' late rally in stoppage to seal three points in an away win.

QPR suffered a familiar Friday night feeling as Fulham won the west London derby 2-1 at Loftus Road.

An own-goal by defender Jack Robinson, who deflected in a shot from Ryan Fredericks, and a Stefan Johansen strike ended Rangers' unbeaten home run this season.

Conor Washington hit a late consolation for Rangers but the defeat extended a remarkable, unwanted record for the hosts who have now lost the last 11 matches they have played on a Friday.

These sides are separated by only three miles and, at...
