Borussia Dortmund have completed the transfer of 17-year-old striker Alexander Isak from AIK Solna.

The Sweden international joins BVB for a transfer fee which a source told ESPN FC is €9.5 million. He has signed what the club described in a statement as a long-term contract, but the length of his deal still has to be determined by FIFA, due to his age.

Although he was close to joining Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund have made a late move for AIK's Alexander Isak and the player could now pick Germany over Spain.

A source close to the 17-year-old player had confirmed to ESPN FC that Chelsea and Real Madrid were battling it out to land the emerging talent but the Spanish giants took the lead and had looked set to take him to Santiago Bernabeu.

Reported Real Madrid target Alexander Isak has said he is a big fan of La Liga and that Barcelona star Lionel Messi is among his favourite players.

Media in both Spain and his native Sweden have reported that AIK Solna's Isak, 17, has already agreed a €10 million move to Madrid, with the deal not yet formalised due to the Bernabeu side being under a transfer ban until summer 2017.

Minnesota United are in pursuit of Finland international and BK Hacken midfielder Rasmus Schuller, multiple league sources confirmed to ESPN FC.

Schuller, 25, is a holding midfielder by trade, and would bolster a squad that already contains the likes of Collen Warner and Mohammed Saeid.

One source indicated that if Schuller is signed, Targeted Allocation money would be required to lessen his hit on the salary budget, and that the midfielder would require a transfer fee of around $750,000.

Real Madrid are leading the chase for AIK Solna forward Alexander Isak -- dubbed by the media as the new Zlatan Ibrahimovic -- according to reports in Spain.
