Losing in the final seconds of Game 5 of the WNBA Finals -- which prevented Minnesota from winning back-to-back titles -- lingered for a while. But the Lynx remain the league's standard-bearer. Story
Elena Delle Donne officially makes her debut as a member of the Washington Mystics on Sunday, but it turns out that the city and the arena already feel like home. Story
Washington's Elena Delle Donne, who was traded to the Mystics from the Chicago Sky during the offseason, is the top choice to win the league's MVP award.
Five of the league's 12 general managers picked the Lynx to win their fourth title since 2011. The Los Angeles Sparks, who defeated the Lynx in the Finals last season, were selected by three GMs to repeat.
Also receiving votes for MVP were the Liberty's Tina Charles, the Sparks' Nneka Ogwumike and Candace Parker, and the Lynx's Maya Moore.
The Mystics, largely thanks to the addition of Delle Donne, were selected as the league's most improved team. San Antonio's Kelsey Plum, who was the league's No. 1 overall draft pick, is the Rookie of the Year favorite.
The WNBA begins its season Saturday.
